In May 2006, Essence listed her among “25 of the World’s Most Inspiring Women.” In July 2007, Vanity Fair listed her among “10 of the World’s Best Dressed People.” She was an honorary guest at Oprah Winfrey’s Legends Ball as a “young’un” paying tribute to the ‘Legends,’ which helped pave the way for African American Women. She focuses a lot on her own image, manners and taste in clothes, so often considered as the best in clothing by the media, and is often compared with Jacqueline Kennedy.

She was born on March 15, 1965, in Leningrad. Svetlana graduated from the Leningrad Financial and Economics Institute in 1987, and worked as a specialist in analysis of companies’ economic activities. Svetlana Medvedeva is Chairwoman of the Board of Trustees of the targeted comprehensive programme ‘Spiritual and Moral Culture for the Youth of Russia’, established with the blessing of Patriarch Alexii II.

Carla Bruni

The first lady of France was a very famous model, a movie star and a singer. Her father and mother are both artists. She is a very good guitar player.

Carla Bruni likes the France luxurious brand Christina Dior very much; she is one of the loyal fans of Dior. Bruni met recently divorced French president Nicolas Sarkozy in November 2007 at a dinner party. After a brief romance they married on 2 February 2008 at the Élysée Palace in Paris. The marriage is Bruni’s first and Sarkozy’s third. Bruni obtained French nationality not long afterwards. She has since made contradictory statements as to whether she still holds Italian nationality as well.
