Michelle Trachtenberg

Recently we saw much news about Michelle Trachtenberg. “Witch G being both naughty and sexy. Michelle Trachtenberg on Complex…” “Michelle Trachtenberg attending stylist of Gossip Girl Eric Daman’s book launch party, in Rag & Bone…” “Michelle Trachtenberg attending the activity of New York Fashion Week “Fashion’s Night Out…” “Michelle Trachtenberg being the mouthpiece of Diesel…” Then we begin to pay attention to this girl, Michelle Trachtenberg.

Nona F. Mecklenberg in made her first television appearance at the age of three, in a commercial for Wisk Detergent. She went on to feature in more than 100 commercials. Between 1994 and 1996, she played her first role as Nona F. Mecklenberg in The Adventures of Pete & Pete. During this period, she also appeared in All My Children, in which she first worked with Sarah Michelle Gellar.

Trachtenberg began her film career in 1996 when she played the leading role in Harriet the Spy. Then in 1999, she acted as the gadget-master’s niece, Penny, in Inspector Gadget. In the summer of 2000, Trachtenberg took up the role of Dawn Summers in Buffy the Vampire Slayer.

Despite of all her works above, people can’t ignore Walt Disney Picture’s family comedy–drama Ice Princess, in which Trachtenberg played the leading role, a a science whiz named Casey Carlyle who gives up her future academic life in order to pursue her newfound dream of being a professional figure skater. In this film, we also enjoyed beautiful skating and knew that we can combine science and skating with perfect result.

Trachtenberg also appeared on the CW hit show Gossip Gril as Georgina Sparks, who recently left rehab and brings back the dark past Serena van der Woodsen desperately wants to leave behind, in the first season. At the end of the second season she returned to the show for a multi-episode story arc. Trachtenberg will be appearing in at least three episodes of the third season.

In 2009, she appeared in the film 17 Again along with Zac Efron, Sterling Knight and Matthew Perry. In this film we also enjoyed Trachtenberg’s good peformance.

It’s already 2010. Having witnessed Trachtenberg’s growth experience of her film career, we look forward her breakthrough of herself in films.
