After watching the two films, I can’t help wanting to know the actor of Darcy, Colin Firth. I searched the internet for information as a result that I was shocked by his achievements.

In 1984, he made his film debut in the screen adaptation of the play, taking the role of Tommy Judd (opposite Rupert Everett as Bennett)…It was through the 1995 BBC television adaptation of Jane Austen’s Pride and Prejudice that Firth gained wider renown. In 2009, Colin Firth contributed with his writing for the book, We Are One: A Celebration of Tribal Peoples, which explores the culture of peoples around the world, portraying both its diversity and facing threats. It counts with the contributions of many western writers.

Besides the film career, Firth also played William Shakespeare’s comedy. Firth is also a Jury Member for the digital studio Filmaka, a platform for undiscovered filmmakers to show their work to industry professionals.

In his private life, Norton is an environmental and social activist. He is a member of the board of trustees of Enterprise Community Partners, a non-profit organization for developing affordable housing, founded by his grandfather, James Rouse. Norton is president of the American branch of the Maasai Wilderness Conservation Trust. He ran in the 2009 New York City Marathon to raise money for the Trust.

Although he is an American, he always has the demeanor of  a British gentleman.
