With angular face, slim but muscular body, and his beautiful eyes, James is regarded as a very handsome guy. His melancholy eyes have captured the hearts of many people, especially girls. James is definitely a promising star. However, it seems that James Franco has accustomed to playing the supporting role. James has little sex scandal, and writes scripts himself. It seems that the gorgeous Hollywood does not fit him. 

Franco achieved international fame as a result of his portrayal of Harry Osborn in the Spider-Man trilogy. In this movie, Harry was living under the shadow of his father’s death and suffering form it. However, it is the role Harry that makes James understands that even thought he doesn’t have the strong power, he can succeed by his own effort.

Since then, his took part in the war film The Great Raid (2005), the 2006 romantic drama Tristan & Isolde, and Justin Lin’s drama Annapolis (2006). In 2008, Franco starred in the comedy stoner film Pineapple Express and received a Golden Globe Award nomination for Best Actor in a Motion Picture Musical or Comedy.

In 2008, he played a prominent role in the biographical film Milk. He acted as a lover of the leading role, a gay. He played so well that at first I thought he was a gay in the true life. I didn’t change my mind until I knew he has a girlfriend.  

Recently he shot a group of photographs for Black Book, and his unique melancholy temperament has made his fans crazy again.
