Pattinson had supporting roles in the made for television film Ring of the Nibelungs in 2004 and in director Mira Nair’s Vanity Fair, although his scenes in the latter were deleted and only appear on the DVD version. In May 2005, he was slated to appear in the UK premiere of The Woman Before at the Royal Court Theatre, but was fired shortly before the opening night and was replaced by Tom Riley. Later that year he played Cedric Diggory in the film Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire. For this he was named that year’s British Star of Tomorrow by The Times. He has more than once been touted as the next Jude Law.

His most successful role is Edward Cullen in the movie Twilight. Although many people said that Twilight has a common plot as many other novels which talk about vampires fall in love with humans, the movie Twilight was really a hit, so does the movie New Moon. So why can they be outstanding? I think there has something to do with the actors and actresses, especially the leading role, Robert. He is so mysterious, handsome and strong in the movie. As Catherine Hardwicke, the director of the movie said that the moment she saw him she knew that he is the perfect guy for the role.

Robert didn’t let us down. He showed us a perfect vampire, who can sacrifice everything for the one he loves, even his life. We are waiting for his more excellent movies.
